Here birdy, birdy

Inside the trailer was the door, again in rough shape bu there.  The hinges were rusted into oblivion.  (Truthfully, I think a weak point of the Streamline design was the hinges.  They skimped on these.  They were steel with only a vague coating for protection.  I'm surprised any are still functional.)

Also inside the trailer was a bird's nest, and a startled bird.  It flew out the open door and I almost peed my pants.  It was not a small bird.

With the bird gone, I could explore what was left in the trailer.  The bathroom was there, as was the curb side of cabinets and bed, but the kitchen and street side cabinets and bed were gone.

The mess and the lack of kitchen did not deter me.  I like the vintage look of old trailers, but, I was not interested in one with an interior that was a museum or was so nice that I'd feel wrong about ripping it out.  I want a newer interior and am willing to build it.  So, this shell was a good fit for me.

How long was it?  Long.
